Everyone at S&B would like to congratulate Chris Buckland on achieving an ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award, for his work in Industrial Applications during the completion of his NVQ Level 2 training course. Chris was joined by Andrew Boulton (S&B Production Supervisor) and his family on the 4th February 2010 in Trowbridge for the award presentation. I’m sorry to embarrass you Chris, but I just had to post a pic!

Our Shiny New Machine!

Well a New Year is on us and We’ve just installed a brand new Aberlink CMM CNC measuring machine. This machine will undoubtably improve our measurement checking procedures, so much so that one of our Metrology customers is green with envy! S&B are committed to continual investment, to ensure that we have the best capacity and the highest skilled workforce.

May we take the opportunity to wish everyone (customers and suppliers alike) a very Happy New Year from everyone at Sweetnam & Bradley Ltd. I thought I’d post a photo of S&B in the snow, just in case the copyright gets stolen for a 2010 Christmas Card!! Also, we’re expecting delivery of a gleaming sprakling CMM machine at the end of the month. We’re sure to post some pics, just to show off our latest gadget!! Heres to a prosperous New Year.

50th Birthday Celebration!

A big congratulations to everyone at S&B – we’re half a century old! The 12th November was our official birthday and it was marked with a buffet provided by caterers and a suprise hamper for each employee. Its certainly no mean feat to reach such a milestone and its a testament to our staff and management that the company continues to prosper – especially in such difficult times. A big happy birthday to Sweetnam & Bradley Ltd!
