Michael Hannon - Managing Director

Following 4 year apprenticeship with Plessey at Swindon Mike 'Smiler' Hannon gained experience with a number of companies, culminating in a 4 year spell with BMG Engineering where he progressed from Foreman to Technical/Administration Manager. He joined us in 1982 as General Manager, and became Managing Director in 1989.

Mike deals with our sales enquiries and revels in his position as our glorious leader.

Richard Wiltshire - Financial Director

Tall, handsome, intelligent, witty, these are just a few of the words that Richard has learned to spell since joining the Company in 1979. His early training was gained at a local accountancy practise where he was employed for more than 8 years. He was originally recruited by Sweetnam & Bradley as Works Accountant, later becoming Company Secretary and then, in 1989, Financial Director.

Richard is responsible for the Accounts and Administration functions but generally gets someone else to do the work. Can usually be found swearing at malfunctioning computers.

Douglas Matthews - Quality  Representative

The man who likes to say "I don't like the look of that" Douglas Matthews has been with us since 1988. Possessing a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, a resolute approach and a white coat, he ensures that our quality system can deal with the vastly differing requirements of our many customers.

Christian Olejnik - Systems Manager

Christian Olejnik first came to us in 1991, at the age of 15, for 'work experience'. At the end of this week with us, his overwhelming enthusiasm had made a great impression on everyone. Upon completing his education and a 2 year college course he joined the sales force of a local housebuilder, from whom we rescued him as soon as a suitable vacancy arose in January 1996.

Christian does all of the work for which the directors take the credit, and gets the blame for everything which goes wrong.

Lauren Forsey -Administration Assistant

We cast our recruiting net far and wide, searching for the perfect Administration Assistant applicant.  Its purely coincidence that Lauren lives 100 metres away!      Lauren was initially employed to cover maternity leave.  She instantly made an impression on everyone and has become a valuable member of the Administration team. Lauren and her partner Chris are VW Beetle and Caravanette enthusiasts and have amassed an impressive collection of vehicles. Chris is chief engineer whilst Lauren concentrates on style and design!

Kayleigh joined us from the local veterinary surgery where she had been working for 2 years. She has settled in remarkably quickly and I am sure that her experience with animals has helped in this respect.  She is extremely well qualified, but the main reason that we have employed her is that we can now refer to our office staff as Lauren & Hardy.

Nigel Johnson - Works Manager

Since joining us from school in 1980 Nigel's career has
progressed from spotty youth in shorts and satchel (a spot of artistic licence there) to works manager. He specialises in developing the more complex jobs and is in charge of the CAD/CAM department (which remains a mystery to the rest of us). We have finally forgiven him for the loss of Lisa, who ran our office, when he made her his wife and subsequently the mother of his two children.

Dave is the hard man of the team (with the tattoos to prove it). Not only does he manage to keep our staff on their toes with a minimum of physical violence, but he also finds time to consider new ways to improve our working methods. Like Nigel he married a Sweetnam & Bradley employee (Julie) but so far the bromide which we have been putting in his tea is working and she is still with us.
